Legacy system
The Legacy system is account-wide. You earn Legacy Points and spend them on perks that every character you own gets to keep, which is why most of them buy convenience rather than power: cheaper vendors, faster rested experience, less durability loss. The pane opens once your first character hits level 25. Here is everything in it. You don't need to plan a build around this page.
How it works
- Unlocks
- This feature becomes available when your first character reaches level 25.
- Three tabs
- Legacy Trees, Legacy Challenges, Legacy Rewards. The rewards tab is a progress track.
- Spending cap
- You can spend up to your current seasonal cap of a set number of Legacy Points in total.
- Keybind
- Toggle Legacy Pane
Challenges and the reward track have their UI in the client but no entries in the data yet, so there is nothing to list for them. The trees below are filled in.

Perk names, ranks and values come from the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.69977, read through wago.tools, with the numbers resolved the same way the talent calculator resolves talent tooltips. The client does not name the trees in its data; the three names above are the client's own strings, paired with the trees in the order both appear. 6 nodes across the three trees are still placeholders reading "to be added in a future update" and are left out. Beta data changes, so expect the numbers to move before launch.
