Templar is the boring one, statistically speaking, and that's genuinely fine. No crit-damage passive, no always-crit skill, normal positional uptime. Every other class has some quirk that bends the damage formula. You don't.
Which means general stat advice just works for you, no mental corrections needed. It also means one thing that trips up almost every Templar.
Roll crit damage, not crit chance
Assassins, Rangers, Clerics and Chanters all have a passive feeding them crit damage. They're already near the cap, so stacking more does less for them. You've got no such passive, so yours is worth full value.
| Stat | You | Them |
|---|---|---|
| +1% Critical damage boost | +0.51% | +0.44% |
| +1% Crit chance | +0.40% | +0.53% |
The order is reversed. So when your Assassin mate tells you crit chance is king, he's right, for him. Roll what he rolls and you're losing damage.
Stat priority
| Stat | Per unit | |
|---|---|---|
| Smite | +0.80% per 1% | Best offensive stat in the game, no contest |
| Attack increase | +0.76% per 1% | |
| Combat speed | +0.74% per 1% | Ping eats into this one |
| Front/back boost | +0.70% per 1% | You're tanking, you're in front, free value |
| Damage boost | +0.62% per 1% | Shares a bucket with PvE and boss boosts |
| Weapon damage boost | +0.62% per 1% | |
| Critical damage boost | +0.51% per 1% | Worth more to you than to anyone else |
| Attack | +0.43% per 10 | |
| Crit chance | +0.40% per 1% | Last |
Top three are flat multipliers, same for everyone. Below that is where your class actually differs.
Smite comes from Pet Genus lines 3 and 9, helmet and cloak lines, and the Wisdom Pantheon stat. Pet Genus guide has the rolls worth locking.
Wings: just run Eroded
| Pair | Korean Templars wearing it |
|---|---|
| Eroded Wings | 77% |
| Talisra's Wings | 9% |
| Brawler Wings | 3.5% |
77% is as close to settled as this game gets. Max attack, multi-hit, HP and front attack damage boost, all on one pair. Offence and survivability together, which is the tank's entire problem solved in one slot.
Talisra's if you want cooldown reduction, Brawler if you're getting shredded and need the status resist. Neither is the default.
Collect all three anyway. Owned effects work while you've got a different pair equipped, so there's no reason not to.

Hit your accuracy and crit floors first
| Raid | Accuracy | Crit |
|---|---|---|
| Ludra | 1,500 | 1,600 |
| Corroded | 2,350 | 2,500 |
| Muspel (Hard) | 2,800 | 3,150 |
Missing these costs you more than any single stat above gains. Whiffing does zero damage.
Judgment before everything
Most of your damage goes through Judgment, so its skill level beats anything on this page. Level it, then come back and worry about stat lines.
